Blue Park Eidos

The Fjord City development in Lier and Drammen is one of the most important ongoing urban development projects in Norway. It sets out a new model for how cities can grow in close relationship with the water, combining housing, public space, ecology, and climate adaptation within one long-term vision. Within this larger masterplan, Waterstudio’s floating park plays a key role by creating a gradual transition from land to fjord, strengthening public access to the waterfront, and contributing to coastal protection. Together, the project represents an important step for Norway in shaping future-proof and internationally relevant waterfront urbanism.
