Watervilla Aalsmeer, The Netherlands

realization: januari 2004
area of expertise: Architecture & Design

A massive yet streamlined appearance. A real frontside and backside and yet it isn\'t a boat. The livingroom looks like an elongated piece of rock that is carefully shaped by a sculptor. The roof merges into the facade and seems only to rest on the wall at the entrance.

At the Westeinderplassen this unique home is moored. The house proves that living on the water has come to a higher level. Several living-magazines noticed and published this house.

Under the waterline a lounge and a cinema with 20 seats is situated.
